Blood, Dust, and Judgment: My First Reaction to Blood Meridian
His writing is almost like a stream of consciousness prose. You see what he’s thinking when he was writing these things down. You see it all— the way that he was seeing it in his mind. I really appreciated that about his writing. He has his own unique style that I’ve never read before and I really love it. There are few books that have the kinds of quotes that this book offers and it is what makes it a unique timeless classic.

The Gospel According to Sue Monk Kidd…HARD Pass.
If I must be completely, and brutally honest, this book bored me. As an agnostic I really don’t want to spend hours reading about Jesus’ sexual escapades. Obviously, I know I’m amplifying and embellishing a minute detail, of course, because it wasn’t really about that. The point I’m trying to make is that I already see him on every social media network. People constantly try to shove him down my throat. I read to escape the drollness of mundane life.
